Its how you drive it that counts! Besides, petrol is now the exact same price as diesel in most places. Get your facts right Top Gear forever!

'Is diesel dead?". Well no it's not according to car sales. "investigates the great diesel versus petrol debate" Where? "A bit of stop start city driving and also a few open roads". Did you change your minds about the open roads? It sounded like a good experiment but then at the end you disclaim you've been driving in the city and you tested only one car. As far as an investigation goes this is the usual nonsense I expect from UK car shows. Why not drive various cars over varied conditions? You completely ignored co2 emissions - of course, perhaps only boy racers watch fifth gear who don't care about the environment? There seriously is a gap for sensible people who want a car show that isn't nonsense.

The review is totally biased and hence non-sense
