Lexus unveils even hotter LF-A

If you thought it wasn’t possible to make the LF-A even hotter then Lexus would disagree.

This is the LF-A Nurburgring edition, which pays special homage to the famous track where the original car spent time in development. This limited edition LF-A gets a huge rear wing and new front splitter as well as stiffer suspension and lightweight alloy wheels coated in track-spec rubber.

Lexus has managed to extract an extra 10bhp from the car’s 4.8-litre V10 engine, increasing overall power to 562bhp, while tweaks to the transmission have made gear shifts quicker.

Expected to be available in even more miniscule numbers than the 500 standard cars and with a price-tag of over £400k the LF-A ‘Ring edition comes in four new colours including matt black, gloss back and orange.
