Hyundai to reveal supermini-MPV at Paris
Hyundai has revealed a sketch of a new supermini-MPV it will unveil at the Paris motor show.
Named the ix20, the small MPV appears to have similar design cues to the ix35, with sweeping lines replacing the boxy corners often associated with functional people carriers.
Despite the late appearance of this sketch and a lack of photos, the ix20 is set to arrive very soon after the Paris show. The UK launch will be in October, with the car going on sale as early as November.
The ix20 on display at Paris will be a pre-production model, but will be in European spec so should be as close as possible to the finished article.
Paris will also play host to the newest Hyundai i10, which comes with a new 1.0-litre petrol engine that drops emissions from the current low of 114g/km to a tax-free 99g/km.
