First look at Ferrari World F430 rollercoaster

This is the first glimpse of the awesome new F430-inspired rollercoaster at the Ferrari World theme park in Abu Dhabi.

The ride will be called the GT rollercoaster and features carriages styled to look like the Ferrari F430 supercar. Its described as a ‘racing’ coaster as it features two competing carriages racing parallel to each other around the track. It’s not expected to be the fastest ride at the park though, with another ride designed to simulate an F1 car, tipped to be the world’s fastest roller coaster, hitting speeds of up to 125mph.

The first theme park of its kind, Ferrari World is situated around ten minutes from Abu Dhabi airport and under an hour from Yas Marina circuit; the venue for the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix. The park is due to open later this year.
